Direct Controls operates a fully equipped in-house facility for the production of high-quality, custom-built control panels. From compact wall-mounted units to large, compartmentalised distribution centres, our panels are manufactured to Forms 1–4 standards in line with BS EN 61439.
Each panel is designed and assembled by our experienced team to meet specific project requirements, ensuring reliability, compliance, and seamless integration with wider building management systems.
Design

Commisioning
Direct Controls provides thorough commissioning services to ensure every system operates exactly as intended. Our process includes full plant operation checks, point-to-point testing, software proving, and setpoint verification for complete confidence in performance.
We also deliver on-site client demonstrations and training to ensure smooth handover. All commissioning is carried out by manufacturer-trained engineers, including fully certified TREND EXPERT-accredited BMS specialists.
Maintenance
We offer ongoing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep systems running at peak efficiency and reduce the risk of downtime. Our bureau monitoring services track plant alarms in real-time, enabling swift diagnosis and resolution.
With remote auto-dialling capabilities, our team can carry out instant checks and provide rapid support — ensuring performance is maintained and issues are addressed before they escalate.
Electrical Installation
Direct Controls delivers complete or partial electrical installations tailored to each project’s specific needs. All work is carried out in full compliance with the latest IEE Wiring Regulations, ensuring safety, reliability, and industry-standard performance.
As a NICEIC-approved contractor, we provide certified installations with full documentation on completion, giving clients confidence in quality and regulatory compliance.
